Port Melbourne Migration Mural

We recently wrapped up a project for the Bay Street Migration Trail in Port Melbourne, painting a mural on the Port Melbourne Yacht Club of people who migrated by boat through the port of Melbourne across different eras.

Big thanks to the Port Melbourne Business Association for trusting us with this meaningful project. We even got to meet two of the portrait subjects!

🎨 Port Melbourne mural alert! 🎨

is at Port Melbourne Yacht Club today, getting this wall ready for a mural for the Port Melbourne Business Association!

This state-funded project celebrates the rich immigration history, cultures and key historical figures who shaped the suburb and made Port Melbourne what it is today.

The completed mural will have a cool feature - an augmented reality experience you can access from your phone! 📱✨

Dan will complete the mural by next week, so if you’re in the area, drop by to watch the magic happen and say hello!

🎨 We had an absolute blast running a street art workshop with the talented VCE VM students at Mentone Grammar recently 🎨

There's nothing like seeing young people realise they CAN create art with a spray can!

These creative minds dove straight into exploring how street art functions as a form of self-expression and identity. From sketching initial concepts to mastering spray paint techniques, the students created some seriously impressive pieces – experimenting with sunset backgrounds, brick wall effects, freehand designs and stencil work.

We loved watching the collaboration unfold as students shared ideas, helped each other, and discovered their unique artistic voices.

Mentone Grammar

🎨 Late last year we finished this incredible mural project with the young people at Bunjilwarra Rehabilitation Centre in Hastings!

Working alongside these talented First Nations youth (aged 16-25) was truly inspirational. The project began with six weeks of art therapy led by amazing artist Emily Webbers from Wurruck Yambo where participants explored their stories through various art practices.

Together we designed and painted a beautiful mural featuring Waa (crow) on their dormitory wall, with each young person contributing their ideas, stories and creativity to create something meaningful for their healing space.

There's some pretty impressive street art 🎨 livening up the walls across Gippsland. 🫶

This mural in Drouin was thanks to the ‘Friends of Drouin’s trees’. We're loving the lively pop of colour, showing off the vibrant beauty of Australia's native trees and birds. 🐦

🌟🎭 Let's hear it for New York! 🎨✨ Inspired by the spirit of Broadway and the bright lights of Times Square, we created a dazzling NYC scene for Regent Calisthenics Collegians private dance studio 🚖🌃

From iconic Broadway posters to neon lights and yellow cabs, we aimed to capture the magic of the city that never sleeps. ✨🗽

This is the second mural we have created for Regent Calisthenics. They were so happy with our work first time round we got another call many years later. We love getting to know a business and creating new artwork for them as they grow!
