A couple of weeks resting down on the Mornington Peninsula and I’ve completely changed my textile genre…..and really can’t love these enough 🌴
(It’s okay though my nature lovers, I also loaded up and many of your favourites! )

I won’t lie, this festive break was very very much needed. 2024 was a GREAT year for markets, but that stuff can be grueling!

Here’s what you ❤️:

1 - I highlighted some differences between big business and small business!

2 - I upcycled some boots…and you LOVED them!

3 - I chatted at length about the many benefits of Sitting Pretty Eye Pillows.

4 - I commissioned for a professional photo shoot, showcasing many best selling leather goods!

5 - Melbourne absolutely blew us all outta the water in April with the market, proving that not everyone in Melbourne is completely broke! The encouragement that gave us stallholders should never be underestimated 😘

6 - Just one of the many many custom made bags we created together in 2024.

7 - That time I fell hard for pom poms…and so did you!

8 - The first stage in finding Sitting Pretty a forever studio, meant I needed to move into a temporary studio space. My move to has been pretty incredible actually. I’ve loved chatting with other small businesses under this roof, and quizzing them about their growth strategies what makes them get outta bed in the morning!

I’ve taken a slightly different turn with the Nancy Bags, and I have a feeling they’ll go quickly!

These Botanica & Flannel Flower prints are larger scale, so they get the full front/outer side of the bag.

Many highlights this weekend at .au include seeing a few of my handbags out in the wild, (I can’t love those moments enough 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) , and chatting with my stall neighbours - the mother and very charismatic daughter combo at as well as the lovely team at .

And this gorgeous lady pictured here with her daughter, bought the same Razzle Dazzle Clutch in gold from here last year, and returned with her fingers crossed, hoping to find the Hot Pink version…and as luck would have it - there she was! 🙌

Accounting is my weakness….well it’s not that I’m no good at it, I’m just not interested, so it would come as no surprise that I’m only just now looking at my October figures!
What did come as a big surprise to me was that in October I reached my highest revenue in my 12 years of trade.
I was so busy in my flow, creating for you, the stuff I love most, that I missed the milestone.
So I say thank you.

I’m opening the studio again this Thursday the 19th of December. Drop by 10am - 4pm for some last minute Xmas shopping. This will be my last day of trade before I enjoy some much needed family time down the coast.

I put the shower caps up in lights at @handmadecanberra …and it worked! Ican tell you there’ll be A LOT of shower caps, eye pillows & convertible fold over bags going under Xmas trees next week. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for my last 💥 market for the season. You’re the bomb!
