SINGAORE AIRLINES VTL UPDATE
Welcome to our weekly VTL Update where we endeavour to provide a summary of the latest VTL changes over the past 7 days. This week’s update covers:
VTL Entry Requirement Changes to Australia & UK
Additional Designated VTL Flights from Australia
New Unilateral VTLs: Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Fiji
New Bilateral Malaysia VTL
Deferred VTLs to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates

Due to the rapidly changing nature of travel requirements, for the most updated information, please regularly visit the Singapore Airline’s VTL page. 1. VTL Entry Requirement Changes to Australia & UKVTL entry requirements have changed as follows: Australia
All fully vaccinated travellers arriving in Sydney and Melbourne must self-isolate for 3 days.
All fully vaccinated travellers arriving in Adelaide must quarantine for 14 days.
UK
Lateral Flow Tests on arrival in UK will cease to be an option; only PCR test will be allowed from 30 November 2021 at 4am local time. Tests must be done at a private test provider and not via the National Health Services (NHS).
2. Additional Designated VTL Flights from Australia
Australia flights into Singapore will be progressively converted to designated VTL flights from January 2022 onwards, except SQ242 that will remain as a non-VTL flight. These additional designated VTL flights will be available for sale on 25 November 2021.
3. New Unilateral VTLs
Singapore Airlines welcomes additional VTLs with Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Fiji to Singapore’s VTL arrangements. Please note that Singapore Airlines does not operate to Fiji.

*Above designated VTL flights are converted from existing flights. Please refer to Singapore Airline’s VTL page for the full list of our flight schedules and designated VTL flights. ^Transfer to/from India via Singapore is only permitted from 15 December 2021 due to regulatory requirements.
Restrictions
Indonesia
Flights from Singapore to Indonesia are currently not permitted for Singaporeans. Travellers returning to Indonesia will be required to quarantine for 5 days upon arrival in Indonesia.
India
Flights from Singapore to India will permit transit from other countries from 15 December 2021. This will include transit via Singapore for flights originating in Australia.
Travellers into India are subject to 7 days home/hotel quarantine, an on-arrival PCR test, a second PCR test on the 8th day of entry and self-monitoring until the 14th day.
Thailand
VTL only applicable for BKK-SIN flights. Flights from HKT and CNX have been removed from VTLs for Singapore Airlines and Scoot, respectively.
There are no other changes to VTL entry requirements into Singapore and travellers from these new VTL countries can transit through Singapore (except for India which will only allow transit from 15 December 2021). 4. New Bilateral Malaysia VTLMalaysia and Singapore’s VTL arrangements are set to begin from 29 November 2021. Please see designated VTL flights below:
These designated VTL flights are new flights and are not converted from existing flights.
There are some key differences in the VTL arrangement between Singapore and Malaysia as compared with existing VTLs. Please refer to the key differences summarised below:
We will be actively re-accommodating passengers with existing Malaysia to Singapore (v.v.) bookings to designated VTL flights. Please ensure passengers who are re-accommodated to VTL flights meet VTL eligibility requirements and understand these requirements.

5. Deferred VTLs to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates
VTLs formerly scheduled to commence from 6 December 2021 to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have been deferred until further notice.
Vaccination Certificates issued by the three countries will not be accepted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore for VTP/VTL flights from other countries until further notice.

6. No SIN Transit/Entry for Southern Africa countries
Passengers (Except for Singaporean Citizens and PR) with 14-day travel history to Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe are not allowed to transit/enter Singapore.
