Who are we?
Over the last few weeks we have shared some beautiful photos with you of the destinations that we are heading to for 2025! We have some amazing adventures planned, however we wanted to let you know a little bit about us!

We are a boutique tour operator situated in the Hills of Melbourne. Our office is in The Basin, and we can be found walking the trails around The Dandenongs nearly every day!

Deb has been part of Getaway Trekking since 2009 when she first trekked the Kokoda Track as a client, joined the operations team in 2010 and in 2022 took ownership. A brave call coming out of COVID, but one that both she and her hubby Mike, have no regrets about doing.

They both enjoy walking with our clients and get to as many of our walks as they can.

Day 4 of our EBC and Gokyo Lakes trek completed. Everyone is settled into our Tea house at Dhole which sits at 4040mts asl. A big day of walking today with a climb of 600mts in elevation. A great day! #everestbasecamptrek #whole Ace the Himalaya
