A great day was had by all at our Winery lunch yesterday at DiGiorgio Family Wines . Grazing platters for lunch and the opportunity to chat and talk about our pilgrimage, whilst tasting many of the wines, is a perfect way to finish our time together! Of course now our pilgrims have different bags to carry today!

Walking is done! Congratulations to our pilgrims that completed the Aussie Camino today. 7 days walking from Portland to Penola. We have had some fabulous conversations, listened to inspiring stories, and supported each other along the way. Old friendships have been strengthened and new friendships have been made. Buen Camino!

Kalangadoo was the destination for Day 6 of our Aussie Camino. A much cooler day for our pilgrims than yesterday. We had a great night at Bush Haven Cottages which included a "family BBQ dinner".
A visit with Peter Savage at the Railway Museum was fun and informative as always, then it was on to our final stop for the day, Kalangadoo Hotel.

Aussie Camino- Day 4 today and we have left the coast and started walking inland. The farmlands were pretty dry and the weather was warmer than yesterday. Our legs are starting to be a little weary after 5 days of 2o+ kms! Spirits lifted at the end of the day with a stop at the ice cream shop! Looking forward to our shorter day tomorrow.

Our pilgrims today completed another 20kms from Bridgewater to Bridgewater Lakes. Plenty of wildlife today, seals, kangaroos, wallabies and swans! One of our pilgrims, Randall, is a geologist and he has been able to explain alot about the numerous layers of different rock in this area. A bit of a breeze around the Cape but generally not too bad!
