🚨 IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE 🚨

Starting 8 January 2025, Australian passport holders will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to travel to or transit through the UK.

Applications are open now!

You’ll need an ETA if you’re:
✅ Visiting the UK for up to 6 months (tourism, business, short-term study, or visiting family & friends)
✅ Transiting through the UK (even if you don’t pass through border control)

Key details:
• ETAs are typically approved within 3 business days (though some may take longer).
• Valid for 2 years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
• You can use the same ETA for multiple trips during its validity.

ETAs will be mandatory for Australian passport holders arriving in the UK from 8 January 2025, including transits.
