Exciting news for those seeking pathways to permanent residence in Australia! 🇦🇺
Effective July 1st, 2023, the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT) will be increased from $53,900 to $70,000, providing expanded opportunities for visa holders to secure permanent residency.
In addition, all Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) SC 482 visa holders will now be eligible for ENS visas sponsored by their employers, provided they continue to work in the nominated occupation. And for sponsored visa holders, the eligibility for ENS TRT will now be reduced from three years to two years of sponsorship on a TSS by their employer.
Furthermore, the limit on Short Term stream TSS visa applications that can be made onshore has been removed. This is great news for those looking to extend their stay in Australia and explore new opportunities.
We hope that these changes will create more opportunities for skilled migrants to contribute to our diverse and thriving community. 🤝
