Thank you Aegean airlines for not only advertising the amazing island of LESVOS 💙🇬🇷💙 but spelling the name correctly. When the island is misspelled it is always mispronounced and as Greeks and Lesvonians, we need to ensure it isn’t permanently changed! Day 8: Thank God we started early! … Perched above the Ba Na Hills, the Danang Golden Bridge is a stunning modern structure built in 2018. At 1400m above sea level it’s like strolling through the clouds. The name comes from the golden-hue gilded railing frames and a winding shape stretching 150m in length. The feature would have to be the image of the huge ancient hands ‘lifting the bridge’ Spectacular!!… and I’m not usually one for modern art.

To Hoi An Anclient Town meaning “peaceful meeting place”

Between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi A was a prominent Vietnamese 🇻🇳 trading port for silk, porcelain, pepper, cinnamon, and medicinal plants as it’s set near the Thu Bon River.
Lanterns adorn most streets and businesses for the Lantern Festival that happens every 15th day of a Lunar month

Registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999!

Day 3: Ta Phin is a unique village where 2 ethnic groups, the Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities live side by side with no crossing of cultures. Located in a large valley, surrounded by high mountains, which covered by pine trees and forest. The H’mong people are distinguished by their black clothing while the Red Dzao are visible by the colour red! 😊 They grow the h**p plant for their clothes and Indigo plant to colour them with. As well as all the vegetables they need to survive. They welcomed us into their homes, and were keen to show off their grandchildren and tell us about life on a commune. **p
