TravelManagers - Nicole Edgar, your Personal Travel Manager About Me:

My first taste of travel, was as a child, being taken on many and varied family holidays, both overseas, and on road trips within Australia.

Nicole Edgar is part of TravelManagers Australia, a network of travel specialists, who have been selected from amongst the best in the industry, to provide you with a personalised travel agency service, when and where you need it. It quickly made sense to make a career out of something you enjoy – travelling, and gaining the education and personal growth that comes along with visiting different p

laces, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life, all over the world. And what a positive and great job to do – creating, planning and selling people’s dream holidays! My career in the exciting travel industry, began in 1992, when I studied at Jetset Travel Training College, Melbourne, and achieved my Diploma in Travel – in both International and Domestic. My first position was working for Greyhound/Pioneer coaches, at their Franklin Street, Melbourne coach terminal. Then my 10+ years of travel agency experience began a few years later, initially starting out as a Domestic travel consultant, and working my way up to International travel consulting, plus Assistant Manager and Senior Sales Consultant’s roles. It was during this time, that I was nominated for the prestigious travel industry award, the Avis Travel Agent’s Scholarship of Excellence (in Customer Service), in 1999. Voted on by highly respected travel industry peers and reputable judges, I took out the Victorian title, and was an Australian finalist. I’ve has also won numerous “top seller” awards with various wholesalers, which sell a diverse range of products, to different target markets, of varying interests and ages, such as retirees, families, schoolies, adventure travellers, solo travellers, couples, students etc. Having travelled extensively to 30+ countries to date, and around most of Australia, I pride myself on my great geographical product knowledge, customer service and rapport that I have steadily built up with my clients, many of whom are now repeat clients and have become good friends over the years. I like to ensure that your stress is taken away – not just whilst you are on holiday, but throughout the whole planning process of your travel arrangements, from the first quote, to the day you return home after your memorable trip. I create and organise all of your travel arrangements with enthusiasm – as if it were my own holiday I am in the process of planning. So on that note, it’s suffice to say that I look forward to the next phase and chapter of my life: travelling more, but this time with my family; continuing to build up a successful business with TravelManagers; and relishing the opportunity to be of help, providing advice and great customer service to you, when you next wish to plan your travel arrangements! Just remember this: I’d love to tell you where to go! PLACES I’VE TRAVELLED TO:

MOST UNUSUAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE I’VE HAD:

Flying over Victoria Falls & the Zambezi River in Africa, in a microlite (basically it’s a hanglider with two seats for the driver & passenger, with a propeller on the back)...scary, awesome, amazing!!!

Why you should always book your travel arrangements with myself & TravelManagers:

Secure. The way travel should be 🤝 Here's how your funds are protected with our 'Peace of Mind' policy 👇
✅Client Trust Account
All client payments are electronic and directly deposited into an Australian audited client trust account and held in trust until payment is made directly to each travel supplier.
✅Separate Operating Account
TravelManagers operates a separate bank account for its day to day operational expenses with client trust funds and operational funds managed independently of each other.
✅Trust Account Fidelity Risk Insurance
TravelManagers has its own additional Travel Agent Client Trust Account Fidelity Insurance (TACTAFI) which is underwritten by Liberty Specialty Markets and the Australian operation is a branch of Liberty Mutual Insurance Corporation which is rated A (Strong) by Standard and Poors.
✅Audits and Accountability
Other companies may claim they have TACTAFI insurance, however it’s important to understand that a TACTAFI policy is only valid when a properly maintained client or trust account is kept. That’s why we have our client trust account audited quarterly and we publish the results of these audits on our website.
✅Additional Insurance
We have sourced additional insurance policies that help to protect our clients against the risk of financial losses following a travel provider failing.
✅TravelManagers Customer Fund
A self-financed fund designed to protect you against the risk of an Approved Supplier not providing the Approved Services which you have paid for, because of the financial failure of the Approved Supplier.
