Everyday has 3 components

♦️♦️TUESDAY 7TH JANUARY:

1. Moonbeam Jars-Make our wonderful self-esteem MOONBEAM JARS that shine in the night with fairy lights to remind you of your authentic strengths! Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.

2. Self-Esteem-Self-esteem can so easily be eroded but it can also be pumped up! This workshop will explore why your child feels the way they do and we teach some great ways to bolster that self-esteem. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.

3. Open Art Kart-Kids have free choice to create what they desire! They can decide to do painting, drawing, gluing, creating, poster making…the possibilities are endless!

♦️♦️WEDNESDAY 8TH JANUARY:

1. Jewellery Making-Skillz Airbrushing and Artisan Rach present awesome Jewellery Making! This workshop will teach you new skills making your own stunning EARINGS, BEADABLE PEN or KEYRING…a unique creation for everyone to take home!
2. Anxiety Workshop-This is a very practical workshop for the children to learn to be the master of their anxiety and not their anxiety being their master! We teach the kids the tools to be ANXIETY’S boss!
3. Postcards from the Edge-Creative storytelling-this is a great workshop where the children join our virtual log around the fire to share their original folk tales.

♦️♦️THURSDAY 9TH JANUARY:

1. Michelle from VersaTile-🐝There will be a BUZZ in the air when Michelle from VersaTile flies by. You will BEE AMAZED by this FUN school holiday workshop. You will be buzzing with excitement as each participant will leave with an A4 Glass frame to proudly display their unique artworks.🐝We will BEE creating a magical BEE WITH HONEYCOMB & SUNFLOWERS THEMED PIECE.
🌻As an extra bonus all participants will receive a bag of GIANT SUNFLOWER SEEDS to grow at home in their own gardens. BEE quick so as to not miss out on this one.
2. Why being bored is good-Boredom gives children an inner quiet that helps with imagination and self-awareness. Creative processes can stimulate interests that will stay with the child for life. Children develop creative skills when they have to come up with solutions to boredom.
3. Drama and Board games-A fun afternoon where the children can choose to play from lots of fun games, including great trivia and scattegories tournaments to play with the staff and friends or get up on stage and create some drama performances!

ALL 6 DAYS OF JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

EACH DAY NOW RUNS 8:30AM-5PM TO BETTER ACCOMMODATE OUR PARENTS (Additional hours 8am-6pm available at $10 cost per day). $300 fee covers all 6 days of the holiday workshops Tuesday July 9th-Thursday July 18th!

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE EACH DAY:
⚫️⚫️⚫️WEEK 1:⚫️⚫️⚫️
♦️♦️TUESDAY 9TH JULY:
1. Lotus Light Drama-Meet Bridget! Bridget is doing her Masters in Dramatic Arts and has created an afternoon of improv, costumes and EPIC themes!

2. Anxiety-We teach the kids the tools to be ANXIETY'S boss by teaching breath work-We also explain what anxiety is and why it's important to humans.
3. Creative Capers-Postcards from the edge-Learn creative writing in a different way!
♦️♦️WEDNESDAY 10TH JULY:
1. Sound Healing-Cynthia's sound healing and yoga workshop will see the children using crystal singing bowls and Tibetan chimes to create their own vibrational healing songs to help them relax and transform their mind, body and soul.
2. Being our Authentic Self-Authenticity and being who you are at your core can help you create a more streamlined expectation of yourself and being aware of your strengths and weaknesses.
3. Pouring Paints Art-This Art Kart will provide the kids with an opportunity to be creative with pouring paints fluid art! This involves mixing colours in paint pots and pouring them onto the easel instead of using paintbrushes.
♦️♦️THURSDAY 11TH JULY:
1. Soldier Fit Kids- Hayley from Soldier Fit Personal Training will run a workshop where the children will play fun fitness games, design and run an obstacle course, create their own movement board game to take home, dance their hearts out and to finish it off we will perform mindfulness breathing and stretching! There are also prizes to be won!
2. Bullying-A MUST DO verbally interactive workshop with Child Counsellor Nicole Neave. This workshop gives the kids the opportunity to speak up about bullying (and share stories if they feel comfortable) and learn the best ways to deal with a bully!
3. Make Personalised Bunting-You can hang the bunting over your bedroom door, windows, bed or garden. Huge choice of colours to choose from!!

♦️♦️TUESDAY 16TH JULY:
1. Moonbeam Jars-The children will make their very own self-esteem Moonbeam Jars that shine in the night with fairy lights to remind them of their authentic strengths!
2. Dance Mania-Dance and Movement Therapy-Be the dance teacher, costume designer or the student! Then you get to perform the dance pieces you created to an audience.

3. Friendships-Making the right choices regarding friends can make or break your child’s social and school life! This is an interactive wonderful workshop for any child. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.

♦️♦️WEDNESDAY 17TH JULY:
1. Newcastle creative artist Michelle from ... let's create AZTEC ART in celebration of
"ALL SOULS DAY"
Also known as
"Dia del Los Mu***os"
This is a day of remembrance and celebration of the lives of departed loved ones. We will be honouring this ancient tradition by painting an "Ofrenda" an offering of a SUGAR SKULL in the Mexican FolkArt style on a large artists canvas.

2. School Hassles-Sibling rivalry is something all families will deal with at some stage-however it has been identified to be more common among children similar in age and of the same gender. Counsellor Nicole Neave will give the children tools to better deal with these school hassles.

3. Magic Moments-Meet Cat from Enchanting Experiences-Dive into a world of enchantment as we craft magical potions and wands using natural materials. This hands-on workshop combines creativity and nature to spark young imaginations and bring the wonders of magic to life!
