les we operate whale watching cruises out of Darling Harbour Sydney. And then for the Southern Migration from August to November we run daily cruises from Merimbula and Bermagui on the NSW South Coast. The Southern Migration is our favourite time of the year as so many whales pass close to the shore and the whale watching is sensational! Outside of the whale season we operate 3hr Reef Fishing Charters & 2hr Ocean Wildlife Adventures from Merimbula. These tours are a wonderful way to see the spectacular Sapphire Coast from the water and regularly sight a variety of marine life (Seals, Dolphins, Whales, Seabirds). Today was a bit wet 🌧️ however we didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits 😊 We had a great morning cruising around Twofold Bay, Eden. Our friendly Bottlenose dolphins joined us for much of the morning and it was fun to watch them surfing at the bow of Bubbles. 🐬💙We also sighted seals and our wonderful local White Bellied Sea Eagles.

The weather was beautiful on our last Wildlife Cruise out of Eden on Tuesday. Great to find a few fur seals and it is always impressive to see our magnificent local White Bellied Sea Eagles.

It is always wonderful when our local Bottlenose dolphins come to play 🐬💙🐬 Today the dolphins played with us for the whole trip on our Merimbula Wildlife Cruise. We also had fun watching our local seal who likes to haul out at Marine Rescue playing with sea grass. 🦭🐬🐬🐬🐬💙

Today’s Eden Wildlife was full of life - dolphins, seals, penguins, sea eagles and a range of other seabirds. It was also great to see the restored vessel James Craig in Twofold Bay on its way down to the Australian Wooden Boat Festival in Tasmania.

We have had some great fun with the seals and dolphins over the past few days. Here are a few photos from Sunday’s Eden Wildlife Cruise. The dolphins don’t show themselves on every cruise - their home range is large so we are always grateful when they choose to come and swim with the boat! We are also super grateful to see seals, seabirds hunting, schools of fish and sharks. Every cruise is different, the animals that we search for are wild and free and for this we are thankful. Always a privilege to spend time out on the ocean exploring our beautiful coastline and connecting with nature 😀

A great day with the dolphins in Eden today - over 15 beautiful Bottlenose dolphins surfed the bow wave of Bubbles today. We found them at the northern end of Aslings Beach and they travelled with us across Twofold Bay to Ben Boyd Tower. It is so much fun watching them play in the waves 🐬 🌊 🐬💙

Two tours for the Cruise Ship Silver Muse today from Eden. We found dolphins on both tours. Our beautiful residential Bottlenose Dolphins on our first tour and the playful Common Dolphins on the second departure. We also sighted seals, sea eagles, albatross and other seabirds today.

Conditions on the ocean were so much nicer today than they have been the last few days 😊 The sun was shining the ocean calm and the breeze warm. We had another amazing day with the dolphins in Twofold Bay. We found our local Bottlenose dolphins at Aslings Beach and then as we were crossing the Bay a pod of common dolphins came over to play 🐬🐬🐬🐬

Today we had an awesome day with the dolphins on our Eden Wildlife Cruise. We found our local Bottlenose dolphins near Boyds Tower and they followed us to Edrom Lodge and then back across the bay 🐬💙🐬💙 Roger was very happy - spending over an hour with 20 dolphins is his idea of a great day - he is now crashed out on the grass at home contentedly sleeping 🐕🐬💙

No dolphins for us today from Merimbula but we did have some playful seals who were travelling through the water pretending to be dolphins 🦭🐬😊

One of things we love about our Wildlife Cruises is that every day is different. From the section of the coast that we explore to the incredible wildlife that we are privileged to see. We always try to select the best route for the day taking into account the ocean and weather conditions.

Today on our Merimbula cruise we found seals, a hammerhead shark, seabirds and as we were coming back some bottlenose dolphins.
On our Eden cruise we heading north up to the beautiful Pinnacles, we sighted several seals and numerous seabirds.

Seals, sea eagles, seabirds and a most impressive super-yacht were all sighted in Twofold Bay this morning. We were again in the northern side of Twofold Bay where the waters were calm and clear and the conditions enjoyable.

From Merimbula we also sighted seals and a sea eagle and a variety of seabirds. On such a warm sunny day it was great to see so many people at the beaches, swimming, snorkelling and enjoying the water 🌞

What a hot windy day today 🥵
We were super lucky on all three of our tours today to find the dolphins inside the headlands 🙏
In Eden we found our local Bottlenose dolphins enjoying the calm waters off Aslings beach on the northern side of Twofold Bay. We found this same pod on both our Wildlife Cruise and the private tour for passengers from cruise ship Disney Wonder. 🐬💙🐬💙

On our Merimbula Wildlife Cruise we found two dolphins just outside the Bar and as we hung out with them the rest of their pod arrived. They must have thought that inside Long Point was a good place to hang out on such a windy day and were super playful.

It is always fun to watch the dolphins play and interact with one another and us 🙏🐬💙

We have had a busy few days with wildlife tours from both Merimbula and Eden.
After a quick trip to Sydney for New Years Eve on the Harbour, Bubbles was back in Eden yesterday for tours. We are enjoying showing visitors just how beautiful our Sapphire Coast coastline is and introducing then to all our incredible wildlife 💙

Tours have been departing daily from Merimbula and the waters have been crystal clear 💙 Today we headed north and found a lovely pod of Bottlenose dolphins inside Tura Head.

Today we found dolphins on all four of our cruises:
Passengers onboard Disney Wonder enjoyed both Bottlenose and common Dolphins in Twofold Bay Eden.
We also found dolphins on our third trip from Eden down near Mowaree.
We found a small pod of Bottlenose dolphins and seals off Haycock on our Merimbula Wildlife Cruise.

This morning we welcomed guests from cruise ship Crown Princess onboard Bubbles and showed them the beautiful bottlenose dolphins of Twofold Bay. We then found another pod of dolphins and lots of seals on our second Eden Wildlife Cruise - Rodger was a very happy dog 🐬🐕💙

We found a playful pod of Bottlenose dolphins on our morning Merimbula Wildlife Cruise over near Haycock. Then on our afternoon tour we found seals and two hammerhead sharks that stayed on the surface giving us all some fantastic viewing 🐬🦅🦈🦭💙

Today we found two pods of Bottlenose dolphins in Twofold Bay on our Eden Wildlife Cruise. We also sighted our local White Bellied Sea Eagle and a variety of seabirds. We watched a couple of retiring Sydney to Hobart yachts sailing into Twofold Bay. One that had been de-masted ☹️

Still smiling from yesterday’s whale watching off Merimbula. The ocean was simply gorgeous- here is a short taste of what we were privileged to experience. Looking forward to heading back out again tomorrow at 10:30am to search for more whales …..

Thanks Andrew for sending us in this beautiful footage taken today south of Merimbula. It is fantastic to see humpback whales in our waters again 🐋💙 Over the coming months tens of thousands of humpback whales will migrate north towards the Great Barrier Reef. This one looks nice and fat and healthy (Andrew told us it had been breaching but had stopped by the time the drone arrived to it) so hopefully they have all had a productive summer feasting upon the krill down in Antarctica. Bubbles heads north next week to start whale watching off Sydney for the next couple of months and we are so looking forward to getting back out with the whales again. Sensational will remain in Merimbula and we will keep running our Ocean Wildlife Tours - fingers crossed the ocean currents bring lots of whales in close this northern migration 🤞🤞We will look forward to welcoming you onboard this whale season 😀 Footage courtesy of @aeroShot.life

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday poured with rain all day and then this morning the sun was shining and the waters beautiful. We were super lucky to find our local Bottlenose dolphin pod at Haycock. They followed us all the way into the Pambula River mouth and back along the beach to Merimbula - such a beautiful trip🐬💙 Look forward to getting back out there tomorrow. We also operate fishing charters December to May from Merimbula. During these months have daily 4hr Reef Fishing Charters.
