Community Reminder it is 12 days to ANZAC Day April 25th

Horse riders are asked to meet at the Hunt Club Hotel in
Merrijig at 6 am for a 6.30 am ride via Mt Buller Rd to arrive at the Merrijig War and service memorial park in time for the start of the service at 7.30 am.

Those wishing to ride please contact Jacquie Pollard on 0417 051 220 to make arrangements.

People attending the service and seeing the horse riders come up Mt Buller Road Park are asked to park your cars by 7 am at the top of Buttercup Rd.

It is most important that everyone making their way to the service take particular care on the road as visibility is poor at that time of the morning.

During the service an invitation will be extended to anyone in attendance who would like to lay a wreath at the memorial.

At the conclusion of the service you are invited to join in the Gunfire Breakfast.

While our apartment is perfect for large groups it is also complies to the latest covid regulations. If you are three groups travelling you can still stay safe.

We have a long history in the area and our grandparents moved to Mirimbah in 1937. Rolie and Bess loved skiing and would travel up to White Bridge and from there hike up to the top and spend the afternoon skiing. we still have the original skis that Rolie made and plan on hanging them in the apartment along with our family history. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
