CALAMUNNDA CAMEL FARM CLOSES TODAY SUNDAY 26TH JUNE 2022.

Today we say goodbye to all our amazing customers who have supported us over the decades we have been here. We have loved seeing the faces light up when they saw the camels for the first time, fed the small animals and joined us on an adventure through the surrounding bushland on a camel ride. Those who have enjoyed a coffee, ice cream and drinks from our little kiosk and those who have watched our farm change (and grow) over the years. We don't have the words to share of how incredibly grateful we are for all the love you have shown us. We have appreciated every moment shared and every kind word spoken including the outpouring of condolences from Chris' sudden passing in April. The Calamunnda Camel Farm wouldn't be what it is today without you all and for that, we thank you.

We want to remind you that although our Camel Farm business will no longer be open, the Trails Hub Cafe, Rock n Roll Mountain Biking and Break the Boundary Inc will continue to operate their usual hours. The many trails for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding in the area will still be open and using them is encouraged!

Please note that all our animals are our main priority and they will continue to be loved and well looked after in their new homes once our doors to the public close.

MTB STILL OPEN!

These amazing businesses will still be continuing their usual business hours after June 26th.

All the trails for Mountain Biking and Hiking will be the same and encouraged to be used!

Trails Hub Cafe, Rock and Roll Mountain Biking and Break the Boundary Inc are all so incredible and we are so happy they will still be here with your support!

The trails hub cafe, rock n roll mountain biking and break the boundary are all still OPEN and will continue to be open when the Calamunnda Camel Farm closes its doors. You can STILL come (and continue to) enjoy the beautiful bush with hiking and mountain biking anytime too 🚴

This very difficult decision was made to close the Calamunnda Camel Farm after the passing of Chris O'Hora in April.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT CONT.

Calamunnda Camel Farm will be CLOSING it's doors at 4pm on SUNDAY JUNE 26TH 2022.

This very hard decision has been made by Chris' family after some serious consideration. Please be rest assured that all our camels and small animals are our main priority and they are being treated with the utmost love and care. Chris' children, the Camel Farm Staff and Volunteers have all been trained very well by the Camel Whisper himself and all are helping during this truly difficult and emotional time.

We want to let everyone know that the gate will remain open for all Mountain Bikers and Hikers to continue to use the car park and facilities. The amazing Trails Hub Cafe serve incredible food and are open Thursday to Sunday. There are also Mountain Bike hire and all things Mountain Biking with the Rock and Roll Mountain Biking. Not to forget the Break the Boundary Inc. who do such wonderful things for the community.

We want to thank you again for all your support over the years and we appreciate your kind words and all your help as we move through these trying times 🐪

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the CLOSING of Calamunnda Camel Farm. The last day to see the camels and to enjoy a camel ride will be SUNDAY 26th JUNE.

We want to thank you all so much for your support over the many years, from having a camel ride to hiring us to be part of your special event or simply purchasing some light refreshments from our kiosk. We truly appreciate with all of our hearts.

This is your last chance to come up to the Perth Hills and have a great experience through the beautiful bushlands on our lovely camels. With limited spots left, please head to our website www.camelfarm.com for all bookings.

It is with great sadness we let everyone know that Chris O’Hora AKA The Camel Whisperer and The Camel Man passed away suddenly Tuesday 12th of April, 2022.

The farm will continue to operate but please be patient with any delays.

We will be CLOSED for Camel Rides over Easter however, the Café and Mountain Bikes will be open.
