Watch one of our houseboats traverse Lock 11 at Mildura in just 30 seconds.
The lock itself helps to regulate the Murray River’s water supply, and it’s important to boats heading up or downstream – the difference in river height is often around 3.6 metres.
It’s not usually this quick (in fact, it generally takes around 15-20 minutes to pass through the lock), but consider this just a taste – you’ll have to pay us a visit and see for yourself sometime!
