We fell in love with our original, emerald green couch. But we had to face the hard truth: it just wasn’t as comfortable as it looked. 😢 We were disappointed, but we knew we had to do something about it. So, we found a new home for the old green couch (we can even go visit her 🥰), and replaced it with a much more comfortable version. We hope it will be the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day in the hinterland 💚 What do you think?

With February being the month of Valentine’s Day and all things pink, as well as International Margarita Day (22nd), we decided a cranberry margarita would be perfect for our February Blak Shak Cocktail of the Month. Margarita is the Spanish word for ‘daisy’. It’s thought that this cocktail is simply a tequila-based ‘Daisy’ - a family of cocktails that dates back to Victorian times and is made with citrus juice, a sweetener (simple syrup or liqueur) and fortified with a base spirit. There are many theories of who actually created it, but most agree it was first popular in the 1930s.
