Thank you to the hard working Kalbar Progress Association Inc. for putting on such an awesome community spirited event "Light up Kalbar" to kick off the festive season. Santa arrived on a horse drawn carriage pulled by 2 beautiful clydesdales, then there was the inaugural colurful tractor parade, followed by the Christmas lights being turned on infront of the heritage School of Arts and finally the sky was lit with a wonderful firework display. A great turnout from the local community.

This week its NATIONAL RECYCLE WEEK with the focus on reduce, recycle and reuse.

Here at Moogie House. Glamp and Pod our sustainable impact on the environment all year round is important to us.💚

Here are just some of the things we do;
🌿We separate and recycle the waste after each guest stay.
🌿Our bathroom amenities are made from native Australian botanicals and 100% biodegradable. We do not use single use bottles.
🌿 All used bottles and drink cans from the accommodations are deposited with "Containers for Change" with the proceeds donated to charity.
🌿 We, where possible, upcycled or repurposed furniture.
🌿Moogie Glamp is wholly off-grid with rainwater harvesting and solar energy and energy and water conservation practices in place.
🌿Moogie House and Moogie Pod help the environment with the use of solar panels.
🌿Eco- friendly cleaning products only are used in all the accommodations, that are septic and grey water safe with no harsh chemicals that may harm the environment.
🌿On site wastewater treatment, with water from the Hot Tub at Moogie Glamp recycled and used for plant irrigation.
🌿Native plants used for re-vegetation work

We ❤ being part of the 💞 journey and creating those "Moogie moments" for recent brides at Moogie House.

Beautiful brides Callie and Sam and their bridemaids shared their preparations for their big days with us. 🙏

In Callie's own words "I stayed in Tara's beautiful house the night before my wedding. Tara went above and beyond to make us feel welcome a d excited for our big day and for that I can't tha k her enough. I will definately be back in years to come!"
