I was very lucky to spend the morning touring the beautiful Grand Princess, and checking out everything this lovely lady has to offer.
At a maximum capacity of 2600 people, there is space galore ensuring you will never feel overcrowded. Including plenty of entertainment options, this ship is easy to navigate and the staff go above and beyond with service.
The food is delicious and plentiful, and it's easy to see a touch of Princess Class in every dish served. I highly recommend the Love Boat Dessert, served resturant De Vinci, and followed up its their white chocolate covered strawberries. YUM!
Accessibility on this ship is of no concern, with wider halls to accommodate wheelchairs, scooters and all mobility needs.
Kicking back with a cocktail has never been so easy with 4 pools, plentiful bars and the the 'Serenity Lounge' which is exclusive access for guests in suites.
My recommendation when making a booking on not only the Grand Princess but any Princess Ship, is to upgrade to the Princess Plus (an extea $65 p/p per day) or Princess Premier ($95 p/p per day). With Wi-fi currently $45 p/p per day, it just makes sense to pay the extra $20 p/p per day and include WiFi, drinks, premium desserts, exercise classes, and more.
While Princess Cruise lines may have less adrenalin activities (ie waterslides) kids don't miss out. Princess have an affiliation with Discovery, and offer some wonderful kids club programs. Some even specific to destinations being visited during the cruise. These will strongly appeal to inquisitive minds with programs such as Marine, star gazing and more.

This lovely ship has much more to offer than what I could possibly view in one day. With not a waterslide in site, this vessel is suited more for adults rather than families, even though kids are still welcome.
The numerous food and beverage choices from steak to sushi, buffet to bar, ensures no traveller will ever go hungry. There are also many specialty restaurants and experiences to try, such as dinner on the Magic Carpet.
The well equipped day spa area can cater for everyone's relaxation needs. Thermal pools, massages, barber, hair salon, nails, teeth whitening, and more. It's a one stop shop of indulgence.
The cabins are spacious and comfortable, with little touches of home (ie bath robes) This ship caters well for guests with special meeds or those who requireaccessible cabins. With lifts into the pools, larger hallways, ramps and even easy access gates to board tender ships, Celebrity has really tried to ensure that no guest misses out on any experience.
My favourite part of this beautiful ship would have to be EDEN. Best described as a big cool glass house, this area is calming and very "zen". It's an area where you can sit in front of the large glass windows and watch the water in front, or listen to some live music while chatting with mates. There are lots of little touches that stand out from the enormous amount of art works and sculptures, right down to the realy roses dyed blue.
