We decided to take a vacation of a different kind away from Moreton Island and Sands on Moreton. Visiting in Tasmania and thought we might share some great places along the way! Best mention so far is Eagle Peaks! Thanks Emily for an awesome stay. Your ocean view studios are gorgeous, well appointed and private! Plus added bonus of seeing Aurora Borealis from our balcony! Winter time on Moreton is amazing! The water might be a bit cooler but the sunshine, beaches and quieter island make for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle! Plus for those that still have to do some work … Sands on Moreton has unlimited high speed free internet! Unfortunately this winter the house is shutdown for some awesome renovations but get in quick for September / October and next autumn before the dates book out! .
