Rustic Pathways' first-ever trips globally were up on Cape York back in the '80s. In recent years, our students have had the privilege to work alongside Australia Zoo staff, scientists and rangers in the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve near Weipa.

This huge Boab tree in the Kimberley was used to lock-up Aboriginal prisoners in the early 1900's. Today, the tree brings history to life and leads to critical discussions with students about the historic treatment of our First Nations peoples.
