It is officially GAME ON!

Local tuna season has started off for us today with the very first session of the year with a full boat bag out plus myself 🤠
Have bloody missed these things we have a few months of mayhem about to happen jump online to be apart of it.

First marlin trip in a couple years for me and it was a bloody good one!
Rocked up to bermagui with the current pumping at 3 knots so we made a last minute decision to take the boat up to JB and then slowly fish our way back down the coast, a little live aboard trip on our own boat was something pretty cool.
Jervis bay anchorage was such a beautiful place to stay, then heading back down at Ulladulla then Batemans bay and back to bermagui catching marlin the whole way down, ending up landing 12 striped marlin, missing quite a few much but that happens.
Good time with good people can’t wait to do it again.

Ps.
Slow trolling live baits around for days on end would have to be up there with the most boring thing ever invented, definitely can stick that where the sun don’t shine.

It’s been a couple years but I am back in this beautiful place doing my favourite thing, marlin fishing 😍

Haven’t taken any social time off to go fishing with family for a very long time but it’s happening, a week off starting now let’s do it !

Another amazing trip on the Gummys & School sharks today.

When you take the best accountant in Australia out make sure you go to the good spots haha! 😉

The guys from had a ball today we landed 2 from 4 schoolies and 3 nice gummys, a few snapper and bunch of bottom reef junks, in perfect conditions!

Everyone that is asking and keen for one of these trips we are heavily booked at the moment but I will be opening some trips either in the Noosacat or kevlacat to get some more of these offshore shark trips done for you.

Caught a lot of school sharks & gummys over the years with all kinds of random stuff in them, from full flounders, skates, huge occys and cuttlefish you name it.
Today however this school shark had a full bluefin tuna in its stomach around 1/2kg max in size proper tiny.

Trying to work out how he even was able to catch the tuna, we rarely ever catch them that size ( that small ) when fishing for them.

What an incredible way to wrap up 2024 with the last charter of the year being an insane gummy and school shark session! Days like this remind me why I love what I do—there’s nothing better than being out on the water, sharing these moments with all of you. For those still wondering, yes, the snapper bite is still going strong! Yesterday’s session was another incredible day, with plenty of big fish landed during an epic bite.

While some sessions last week were a little tougher, everyone has still gone home with a great feed. Of course, I wish every trip could be an all-out bag-out session, but that’s fishing!

Since mid-September, we’ve been flat out chasing snapper on charters, and this season has undoubtedly been one of the best we’ve seen in years—if not ever.

I’ll probably post one more photo of a snapper caught on soft plastics unless we manage to land a 20lb monster in the next week! Either way, this will likely be my last snapper photo for the 2024 season.

With our snapper charters fully booked, we’re now turning our focus to 2025. We’ll kick things off with whiting trips, followed by kingfish and bluefin tuna adventures.

My pretty princesses 👸 5th birthday today 🎈

I had blocked off the day so no charters but she decided for her birthday she wanted to go snapper fishing so that’s what we done.
Family affair with wifey and my mum also havana wanted to bring a couple of her favourite uncles along as well.

We moved around a little till we found a really good patch and it was game on, next on her list she wants a shark and a tuna how good!
