Hi all,
After too many months we are back on the water albeit with a different boat. Unfortunately it was beyond our capabilities to restore the Plover and continue to operate.

The good news is we understand that the Plover has been purchased by a Mornington Peninsula local who is looking to restore

Over the week and a half we are operating only on weekends. From 1st December we will be back to full time operations.

We have had a few nice trips over the last couple of weeks as we broke in the new boat. "The Ultimate"

While we are awaiting an update on the Plover, we will still be supporting this wonderful charity in any way we can.

We were due to run free trips for young and disadvantaged youth on this day. Devastated that we may not be able to so.

Still not sure when we will be back on the water but we will be there to support.

In the meantime, please come and support this wonderful event.

Please also get behind Paul Pingiaro and Mornington Boat Hire who have been a great support to, not only my business, but the community at large. Thanks guys

Tomorrow is our insurance assessment. Fingers 🤞

Stage 1 nearly finished. The Plover is floating and being towed to Martha Cove tonight by our lovely neighbours from Yumbah mussel farms so we can fully assess her ailments

Today we were heartbroken to see the Plover owned by Bay Fish N Trips sunken at her mooring after those massive waves over night. Bay Fish N Trips have been a long running supporter of the Dolphin Research Institute, regularly reporting sightings of our beloved dolphins in Port Phillip.

Well, it was heart breaking this morning slowly watching our beloved Plover succumb to the storm. We will do everything we can to get her back on the water.

What a wonderful few days aboard the Plover this week. Highlights a plenty. Beautiful sunsets, wonderful clients and boy the dolphins, fairy penguins and pelicans come to play. Plenty of first fisherman on board today...all the way from Traralgon.
