She had an amazing experience seeing a pangolin (very rare animal species) while travelling in South Africa. The guide had never seen one so literally jumped out of the vehicle while it was still going to get to it before it disappeared. ꜱᴏ ᴍᴀɴʏ ʜɪɢʜʟɪɢʜᴛꜱ! Last Friday Leah, Sarah & Maddie headed off to Sydney for the 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 & 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨. It was action packed full of inspiration, laughter, dancing and award winning moments. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 • Leah was apart of a panel discussing the current challenges and innovation happening within the travel industry. Of course she was an absolute pro up there! • Maddie’s improv dance performance with another travel consultant at the first nights event. • Tailor Made Travel winning in the silver category of the Choice Awards for 2024!! Maddie has been apart of the Tailor Made Travel Team for nearly 18 months! Her favourite destination to date is the scenery at schnapps farm in Salzburg OR trekking the jungles in Vietnam. Her most random travel memory is from her first trip overseas which started her travel bug. It was to Vietnam & Cambodia when she was 16 for school. “I joined a World Challenge program which took 15 of us school kids to a third world country and we spent 3 weeks volunteering at a local school, trekking and learning about other people’s way of life!” She says “My main highlight for this trip was when I had my birthday in Na Trang, we spent the day snorkelling and came back to the hotel and they had made me a handwritten card, birthday cake and put on a party for all of us!
