𝐄𝟏𝟎𝟐 - 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐛𝐲 & 𝐁𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬)

We leave Port Lincoln and head out to the Sir Joseph Banks Group of Islands stopping at Home Bay, Reevesby Island and explore the abandoned farming station.

Visiting the nearby Blythe Island we find seals eager to get us into the water to swim and play with them.

We fly the drone to get some amazing shots around No Regrets and the tiny sandy island.

The girls catch a few squid and have some very funny and near miss squid ink attacks.

After leaving Darwin and crossing the border into the Northern Territory we head to our first destination in the Kimberley's, the Berkley River.
With so much to see, we have had to break the Berkley River into to parts.
In this episode we visit First Creek, Pauls Creek and then take our catamaran No Regrets up Casuarina Creek to get an iconic photo of our yacht at the base of the waterfalls.

Our Story

When Sailing & Cruising in Australia - East Coast & Tasmania you will soon discover that there are abundance and variety of sheltered anchorages. In fact it is easy when to be anchored in the centre of a city one day and then in pristine and secluded national park the next.

Our goal for this page is to share posts from those who are actively cruising in these locations to give those who visit a chance to see what we think this is one of the worlds best cruising grounds.

This page has been created by the Down Under Rally to showcase The Australian East Coast & Tasmania and hopefully encourage international yachts to include Australia on their itinerary as a destination rather than just making it a stopover on the way to Asia or worse still sail right pass.
