Time for a refill! We’re usually entirely self-sufficient with our rainwater tanks, but an unfortunate mishap (a guest’s child playing with outside taps) meant we’re calling on D & H Morris Water Cartage to save the day! (Sorry your truck got bogged, Dave - the driveway isn’t usually this wet!)

We recently found an ode to a dead bird, left in a tiny makeshift grave behind the cottage by one of our lovely guests. We found it so sweet and funny!

We’ve just opened up a last minute booking for this weekend! School holidays aren’t quite over so if your kids like climbing trees as much as ours do (they call this one the “pirate ship tree”), get in quick… and definitely pack your gumboots!
