Renee and James beautifully incorporated an Acknowledgement of Country into their wedding ceremony!

Mudgee, and the Central West townships, are situated in Wiradjuri Country. Mudgee has both an ancient history and a culturally dynamic contemporary community.

I encourage all visitors to the Mudgee Region to engage with Aboriginal owned businesses for local tourism activities and wedding supplies.

There is so much to see, experience and learn in the Mudgee region!

I find that proposals never quite go to plan, but don’t stress! I can promise that the result will be a more entertaining and equally as romantic proposal story 💕

Going away with family and friends, Ryan thought there would be multiple opportunities for a romantic proposal. However, in reality, every time Ryan would steal Kristy away from the group a well-intentioned third wheel would tag along. So it was during chore time at the tent site, between the car and tent, that Ryan finally got to ask Kristy ‘Will You Marry Me?’

No doubt, many Mudgee High alumni remember checking out the new year 11 students coming from St Matts. With the incoming students, likely doing the exact same thing in return. And yet, all Reece really expected was to finish his education. Little did he know, it was at his new school that he was about to meet his future wife!
