The Four Knots Family

Having worked in the mines for many years and with a young family at home, it was time for Chad to return home permanently. With a passion for boating, fishing and interacting with people, it was an easy decision to purchase a river cruiser, The Jester, mixing these passions together. January 2017 saw the birth of Four Knots Murray River Cruises.

The Four Knots Family consists of Chad, the skipper of the MV Jester, Sally his wife and their three young children; Henry (8), Max (5) and we welcomed Gus to our family in August this year. For those who know our family personally will hear Max referred to as ‘40 Knots’ as he tears around the Mannum Water Marina, and is often occupied by ropes, tying knots and washing the deck for his dad, a skipper in the making.
