The Battle on the Border is one of Australia's biggest cycling festivals, incorporating Mens and Womens NRS stage races, the Graded Tour and the Cycle for Life, a free bike ride for everyone raising awareness for organ donation. Given the recent flood disaster in the Tweed, the 2022 Battle will operate a condensed program, welcoming the Queensland Road Team Series over a two day program.

The major flood recovery works continue in the Tweed, with works on Numinbah Road underway now. We're thinking of our friends in the Tweed, this is a much loved section of the Battle course and we hope to return and enjoy the region again soon ❤️

Please note that both the Cycle for Life on Sunday 1 August and Battle on the Border on 6-8 August have been postponed due to COVID-19 with new dates to be announced following consultation with local and state stakeholders. We hope to return to the beautiful Tweed Valley very soon 🚴🚴
