Fletcher is our young German ShortHaired Pointer and we were potting some natives up. Young Fletch decided he was tired and decided to have a sleep in the potting mix container. He is such a funny little man.

The girls and boys do enjoy getting to have a run in the morning and get the fresh wheat and grains then have a good scratch around.

We have a tribe of magpies that frequent our place. They love to sit on the fence in the morning a give us a song or two. Bathing in the small pond in the lower garden is also a favourite past time.

Inside our vacation studio apartment. Sleeps queen bed, single bed and a cot if required. Comfy lounge with wifi and large TV. A separate room has the bathroom with large shower, toilet, laundry. These are the girls on our property Red Isa Browns and the noisy Guinea fowl. They have there enclosure under the pines and are very friendly. Guests at the Airbnb are always allowed to feed them. The girls are always looking for a feed.

We had a large group of visitors today. A swarm of bees in the olive tree. They rested about 2 hours then moved on, they flew over the house and down the front paddock before we lost sight of them. Must have been a good season.

This is one of the big old gum trees that we want to install nesting boxes for the big cockatoos like the yellow tailed blacks. It is situated in the corner of our paddock, we believe it is a flooded gum and is about 300 years old. Just majestic and worth looking after.

Its that time of the year again when the yellow tailed black cockatoos move through the area. Here they are in the hakea bush that is right outside the airbnb that we have. They certainly have given some of the visitors a beautiful sight.

High up in one of our gums trees close to the house is a nest of sticks. Has to be the resident magpies. We have a group of around 8 that frequent the back lawn every morning giving us their songs. Just great.

Surrounded by farming land and tree lined roads makes the perfect adventure for walkers and bike riders. Grab your camera you never know what you might see. Meet the hounds that live at Camel Hump Road. Fletcher is a full liver german Short haired Pointer we have had since he was 3 months old. He is a teenager, friendly and full on he is 18 months old. Indie is our recent addition, she is six and a German Short Haired pointer that we rescued from the GPS Rescue group. She is lovely and great company for Fletch. Then here is little Tydo he is small, blind and a little bit heavy Maltese cross had him since a pup. He follows me everywhere
