Mount Buffalo is the perfect place to visit with the kids for a bit of fun in the snow. It's only a 1hr drive from Myrtle Creek Cottage to get to the top of the mountain, it's an easy drive and not to crowded. The toboggan runs are closed at the moment but there is still certainly enough snow for the kids to mess around in.

Spending time at Myrtle Creek Cottage is truly when we are in our happy place. It's all about fresh air, beautiful surrounds and spending time with family. There is plenty to do in the area, you can go on beautiful bush walks, visit the many wineries and brewery's in the area, wander through the streets of Myrtleford and other towns nearby, visit Mt Buffalo or just camp yourself by the fireplace and play board games or read a book... and that's just to name a few.
