It has since expanded from a membership of 8 to over 90 today, with members aged from the teens right through to 70's. The field and facilities are constantly being worked on to better everyone's experience. ying most varieties of aircraft such as trainers, aerobatics, scale, and a bunch of other planes and helicopters. Best days to catch our pilots in action with their models are Wednesdays, Fridays, and of course Saturdays and Sundays. Most members fly up until lunch when the sun begins to get a bit high in the sky, however the helicopter enthusiasts can often be found flying until mid-afternoon. GCAC has earned the name of the "Friendly Club on the Central Coast" in the model aero community.
