It was a picture-perfect journey as Scenic Eclipse II made her way across the Pacific earlier this year, calling at the legendary atolls of Bora Bora, the Cook Islands, Tonga and Fiji. Guests were treated to spectacular wildlife encounters while swimming in the crystal-clear waters.

LIVE: Scenic Eclipse II - Sydney Harbour Sailaway
This morning Scenic Eclipse II sailed into Sydney Harbour, after completing the inaugural Pacific Ocean crossing. This is the first Scenic ship to sail into Australia, where the company was founded 38 years ago.

We look forward to welcoming Scenic Eclipse II in Newcastle and the many ports along the East Coast and Top End of Australia. The ship will then continue the journey across the Oceania region for the 2024 to 2026 seasons.”
Scenic Eclipse II is now docked at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay and will move to White Bay Terminal on Saturday evening. The ship is scheduled to depart from Sydney at 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon and will arrive in Newcastle from 6.30am on Monday, 22 April.

In Antarctica's Pleneau Bay, Getaway host Tina decided to try stand-up paddleboarding for the very first time. With her expert Discovery Team guide close by, she paddled through this calm iceberg graveyard while a sleepy leopard seal cruised gently past.
