What we love about this itinerary....
- The NEW Grand Egyptian Museum is now OPEN! We'll get to experience this new building (which has been due to open for years and years!)

3 nights in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to end our amazing adventure! We’ve danced at an underground club, we’ve travelled on the back of Vespas through the crazy traffic/city streets, we’ve eaten lots of amazing food, travelled the Mekong by boat, crawled through the cu chi tunnels, kept the economy going by spending money on gifts, and enjoyed many a rooftop drink 🍷

It’s sad that it’s all coming to an end, but we’ll continue to share more photos and videos over the next few weeks.

We released a NEW tour - SINGAPORE AND HONG KONG! This one was very popular with many pre-registered ladies snapping up sports on this short break tour for later this year.

We only have three spots available to join us on this great adventure.

You'll have 4 nights' in Singapore and 4 nights' in Hong Kong - all in 5 star accommodation. You'll have walking tours to parts of Singapore that are a little off the beaten track, hearing the history of how a blend of cultures and hertiage have all come together. You'll have a Singapore Sling at the famous Raffles Hotel and take the Night Safari at Singapore Zoo! Not to mention a visit to the iconic Gardens by the Bay.

In Hong Kong visit Victoria Peak, Stanley Markets and even take a day to the Giant Buddha. We also have a class with a Tai Chi Master and do a dim sum cooking class. Cruise the Harbour at night to see the spectacular light show. Sip on a silky-smooth Hong Kong-style milk tea, a unique blend of strong black tea and evaporated milk, and indulge in a freshly baked egg tart, a flaky, creamy
treat that has been a local favorite since the 1940s. Fun fact: Hong
Kongers love milk tea so much that they even have a competition to crown the best one in town!

This is the perfect short break if you don't want to be away too long. It's the perfect introduction if you haven't travelled with us before and don't know what tour to start with! Or if you just need a little something to look forward to this year - this is it.

With only three places available, these will be snapped up quickly.
I've linked the full itinerary below but if you have trouble viewing or have any queries, please reach out at [email protected]

Flashback (to a week ago!) when we boarded basket boats to explore the canals outside of Hoi An. This was such a laugh!

Started out with fresh coconuts to hydrate, and then into our baskets! As our rowers sang ‘ole ole ole’ they would spin you around (only if you want), and then we discovered the bamboo groves. Peaceful at times, crazy singing at others! It was a vibe that’s for sure! Many laughs and a great afternoon.

Some of you may have travelled with or met the lovely Toni on one of our women’s trips - but did you know she’s been working on her art (which is amazing if you ask me!) 🎨

She has an exhibition coming up, and if you are free - come along and support her! Helen and I will both be there opening night. Congrats Toni Williams can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on 🙌🏼

HALONG BAY 💜
we unpacked for two nights onboard LA REGINA and were spoilt by the kind, lovely staff onboard. Two nights meant more time to relax, unwind and explore!

We went on small boats to see the light and dark caves, and climbed up through Trang Trung Cave. On our full day, some explored Cat Ba Village and others simply enjoyed the whirlpool bath for 4hours 😂

But before we did all of that, I had a surprise planned that wasn’t in the itinerary… we took to the air in seaplanes!! Flying high over the limestone formations you can truly understand how big and vast this area is. Such a great experience to kick off two great days at Halong Bay 🚢

Welcome to SAPA 💜
A big photo dump coming of our few days here in the hills of Vietnam! We stayed in the most gorgeous hotel - the Hotel De La Coupole, which was designed to pay homage to Sapa in the 1920’s and the ‘30s French Indochine era. Think colourful tribal clothes mixed with French Haute couture!

We visited the BAC Ha markets, where every Sunday tribes come from all over to sell their goods. We boated up the river, explored the local town, and then went up to the highest peak in Vietnam - Fansipan. Blessed with great views and clear sky as we got to the top (and getting to the top is no small feat!). A funicular, 6km cable car, MANY steps, a tram - and then more steps 😂

We’ve spent tonight on the overnight train back to Hanoi, and then I think it’s time for our weary legs to relax for a few days on Halong Bay! x Michelle

A snapshot of our time in HANOI 🇻🇳
We had three nights/two full days here, and we’ve definitely hit the ground running.

We conquered ‘train street’, explored the French Quarter, ate local foods, learnt about the culture/history, and had a great time. We’ve also got to ‘expert level’ of crossing the road!

We are on the bus this morning to Sapa, and our feet are thankful for a morning off 😅

21/03/2025

Our first full day in Vietnam and we packed it with incredible experiences! With our Tour guide Nam we walked the streets, saw the Temple of Literature, took cyclo’s through the city, ate great food and tried the local Hanoi beer.
But I thought what I’d share all about, is our afternoon adventures with a local MasterChef!

Venturing outside the main city, we met our guide Quail (definitely not the correct spelling but she did describe her name as ‘the ugly little egg’ before dissolving into giggles!), who jumped onboard our bus and took us to her local market.

Not a tourist bus or selfie stick to be seen as we walked the streets and bought our veggies for tonight’s dinner. The locals come to this kind of market twice a day for fresh food. While there is an indoor market nearby, the locals don’t go there. They know that the freshest food and best prices is here, at the local street markets.

It’s almost a drive-through shopping experience as people pull up on their bikes and buy their food. Tie it to the handlebars and onto the next vendor! And yes, to us it’s a little questionable! but to the locals, it’s life (and who is to judge whether meat should be in the fridge 😅).

Back to Quails family property, and she shared her beliefs, temple and how the family came to be. And then it was on to our cooking experience … but with a twist! Split into teams, we were racing the clock and each other to create the local specialty - BANH CUON (or Vietnamese ravioli). Many MANY laughs, a little sabotage and a great way to end our day.

And in good news, we were all so good (or bad, depending who you ask!) - that we were all crowned winners. And lucky for us, we didn’t just have to eat what we cooked. A big, amazing start to our adventures through Vietnam.

Stay tuned for more of our trip!

Hello from TAHITI 🌺
We had a full day in Papeete before embarking on our Silversea Cruise. Our original plans got changed due to a bit of rain, so instead we explored the Botanic Gardens and visited a lighthouse from 1872!

Did you know there are 118 islands in Tahiti?!?

We’re taking a break from the -6 degrees chilly weather and have escaped to PostHallen - the old post office converted into a gorgeous space with pop up unique bars ❄️ Funny how we can always find a red wine 😉🍷

It’s been chilly and rainy, but we’ve had a ball exploring Istanbul on route to Norway! We’ve even had a bit of snow ❄️

We’ve tried plenty of local cuisine and had PLENTY of coffee and tea. There are the sweetest cafes here with unique decor - and the cats are treated as kings! We’ve had delicious baklava, kebab, pide… we’ve eaten in family restaurants around the bazaar - to rooftop restaurants overlooking the mosque. We’ve had baked mussels from street side vendors and even some ‘entertaining’ local drinks! And have you really been to Istanbul until you’ve tried the ‘Baked Chicken Breast Pudding’ from Hafiz Mustafa (this cafe started 160years ago!)?!?

We’ve been to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topaki Palace, the underground Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. We’ve cruised the Bosphorus, taken the ferry to ‘Asia’, rode the metro, a funicular, walked miles - and LOVED it all.

After a Hamman tonight, we are ready for Oslo!
Here’s a snapshot of our time here in Istanbul. Ps did you know we are doing a full Turkey tour in a few years? Registrations available now

We have SUCH a big February coming up here with our women's tours!

Michelle is about to embark with 5 ladies over to 'chase the northern lights' through Finland and Norway. They also have a great 3 night stopover in Istanbul along the way.

And then Helen is setting off on a full tour to Tahiti, sailing the beautiful islands - stopping in magical places like Bora Bora and Tahiti!

You'll be seeing updates from being rugged up to deal with minus 10 degrees to Europe and racing through the snow on reindeers - to the ladies basking in the sun and crystal clear waters of Tahiti. It's definitely a different kind of holiday between the two🤣
Stay tuned!!

With everything happening, our next coffee catch up won't be until MARCH. Pop the date - Thursday 13th March - in your diaries now and we'll be touch a bit closer with more details.

How great is this photo (it's a big throwback to when we went to South America in 2013!! Should we go back to South America....
