Being in the Hotel and Travel industry for over 20 years I have seen and done much, yet there are always more places to explore, taste and discover. One of my biggest strengths is family holidays. Today I was SO excited to board the contemporary Celebrity Edge ship in Brisbane. The first of 4 in this class of ship and WOW!
She certainly didn’t disappoint.

Stunning yet soothing neutral colour tones with muted greens, blues with highlights of gold. The Infinite balcony cabins which makes up 80% of the rooms are so innovative.
There is on average between 7-10 million dollars worth of artwork onboard the ship so walking the hallways are fascinating.

The massive highlights though were outside. The Magic carpet bar on the side of the ship is a marvel. The Garden restaurant, alfresco area and cabanas are begging for drinks with friends. And Eden which is a 3 level very open area cm club/party area at night.

Today I stepped onboard the beautiful Oceania Regatta and thoroughly enjoyed exploring this small luxury cruise ship with its warm and intimate spaces, lovely smiley crew, as well as an outstanding lunch.

Oceania cruises worldwide and ports at 600 destinations. The itineraries are unique and ideal for people who have “seen it all”. The cuisine at sea is a stand out, the all inclusive nature offers excellent value for money compared to its competitors.

Ample storage space.

Located on deck 8 which is only one floor down from Cabanas buffet, Daisy de Lites, Ice Scream, Pinocchios pizza, the pools, spa/fitness centre, adults only Cove and Quiet Cove area is super convenient to many activities.

Pool life on Disney Wonder.

The thoughtfulness that goes into every design element on Disney ships is fantastic. - there is something to cater all ages- like the pools.

The Cove area is for over 18’s and has a dedicated pool, and bar. Nearby is a espresso cafe/also where the whiskey/wine tastings happen. Senses Spa (my favourite area) is also right there.

The main pool and spa area for everyone, where you can also watch Funnel vision (movies on the big screen)

A kids pool/splash area and waterslide which is located mid ship deck 9 conveniently near the free self serve ice cream and pizza! 🤣

The breathtaking and slightly scary Mt Yasur, Vanuatu. An active volcano 🌋 on Tanna.
We have visited Vanuatu many many times as a family spending moments on the main island of Efate, also Tanna, Espiritu Santo, and Pelé.
It’s a fabulous place with welcoming people, fantastic food in a very relaxed vibe.
