“We are just back from a 3 week holiday in northern India , November 2023, planned with Nick from Oasis Travel.
We always expected that the trip would be interesting but were delighted by how amazing a trip it was under the umbrella of Oasis Travel.
With an excellent driver and new car, we travelled from destination to destination at a pace that suited us, avoided ‘shopping’ trips unless we asked for one and gained enormous flexibility. As a couple with a guide we could see monuments before the tour busses and consequently had much better experiences.
We were met by a local company representative at each accomodation to ensure smooth checking.
Our itinerary was confirmed with us and adjusted if required.
We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed with this level of attention.
We asked for a range of good quality accomodation with a focus on heritage properties. The standard was often luxurious and many of the hotels were destinations in themselves. Fabulous.
I have travelled extensively to many parts of the world and had many great experiences but this trip exceeded my expectations. If you are thinking of India, book with Oasis. A little more expensive than some options but the value is outstanding.”

Gastronomic devotees will delight in the news that MICHELIN have produced their first restaurant selection in Vietnam, with a total of 103 restaurants in the Guide, highlighting 4 restaurants awarded with one MICHELIN Star.

Tầm Vị in Hanoi is one of the proud recipients - a vintage tea house with a nostalgic collection of Chinese furniture and hand-written signs. They serve northern Vietnamese dishes with some central and southern options.

Also on the list is Hibana by Koki in the basement of Capella Hotel, a favourite accommodation option of Oasis travellers.
