Have you heard? Normanville Surf Life Saving Club 's new club building is officially open!

And conveniently it's just a 5 minute walk down Jetty Rd from Little Norma! 🎉

The new surf club building includes *three* new places to eat and drink :
🍦 Aqua Blue Normanville Beach kiosk is downstairs - serving up icecream, fish and chips, and plenty of other takeaway style options (including some delicious salad bowls! 👏).
🍽️ The Aqua Blue cafe is upstairs, right above the kiosk - a restaurant experience with unbeatable views and a focus on seafood. These two eateries are run by the same chef as the hugely popular nearby microbrewery Forktree Brewing .
🍻 The Surf Lifesaving Club takes up the other half of the building, and their clubroom upstairs is serving up drinks and pub grub. Like the cafe next door, the views are first class.

I really like the building itself. Cladded with white weatherboard, and with wide elevated balconies, it has a lifeguard lookout vibe but on a really grand scale. Its huge glass windows reflect back the stunning natural surrounds of the building.

Three more reasons to visit beautiful Normanville beach this summer! Oh and the building also houses brand new accessible public toilets. Just everything you might for those long beach days 😎🌞🌊

Entries are rolling in for the Carri to Club - Swim, Walk or Run event on Sunday Jan 7

Held along the stunning shoreline between Carrickalinga and the Normanville jetty, the event offers participants a 4km, 2km, 1km and 400 metre swim distances, and a 4km run or walk option.

Whether you are looking to satisfy your competitive urge, challenge a friend, or just enjoy a swim, walk or run on one of South Australia’s most beautiful beaches, the Carri to Club is a fun community event for all ages.

The event is entirely volunteer run with proceeds from ticket sales and donations supporting the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club's beach patrol and training programs.

Entry is open to all ages, with discounts for family groups.

Normanville has to be every dog's dream holiday location!

Beautiful beaches to explore, plenty of dog-friendly nature walks nearby, and dog-friendly areas at most of the eateries.
