Qatar Airways launched the inaugural Boeing 777 flight equipped with Elon Musk’s Starlink internet, paving the way for a new era of in-flight connectivity across the entire fleet, by next year.

Pool floor of The Plaza Doha with great views over the old port. Casual dining at Horizons on this level. Love the tasteful decor. Great change facilities, spa, sauna, steam-room and gym.

Intercontinental Adelaide: The location is convenient with Rundle Mall, the Art Gallery, SkyCity Casino and the Central Markets all walkable. It is an older property with large rooms and bathrooms..if a little dated. Food and beverage outlets unappealing and could do with a rethink. Near enough to the many dining options in the city. Pool is small & unattended with limited beds with shade. Front office seems to handle all calls so no ordering room service if a large group is checking in! Well priced. 3.5 ⭐️ Jan. 2024

I enjoyed viewing Oceania's Regatta in Fremantle, Perth WA yesterday. She is a nicely appointed medium size luxury ship..love the Versace dinner plates in the Grand Dining room! Year Built: 1999

Air Travel Etiquette - great article!

I was moved to share this article after continually being asked to give up my paid seat to accommodate other travellers. A short journey is not really an issue but on an 11 hour flight it is a big ask!

📣 Consider where the person you’re trying to swap with is sitting.
Trying to move up a class? Yeah, sorry, that’s a no-no. “Don't ask to swap into an exit row or a seat with more legroom if you're not in the same class of seat,” Rawls says. “Typically passengers pay a premium for those seats, so it's not appropriate.”

Airplane mode...there is a trend to ignore the crew when asked to turn off your mobile or switch to airplane mode. On a recent flight back from London I even saw a passenger recieve a phone call as we were taxiing to the runway! This is a useful article explaining the risks. 📲📵📴
