Important information regarding travel from Australia

The Prime Minister together with State and Territory leaders and the Chief Medical Officer, Brendan Murphy, have just completed a press conference. During that press conference the PM announced:

1. The establishment of a National Cabinet comprising State Premiers and senior Cabinet Ministers;
2. Early evidence of an increase in community transmissions in Australia;
3. Advice that from Monday advising against non-essential organised gathering of persons of over 500 people;
4. The Government is seeking to slow the rate of infection in order to manage health resources;
5. Issuing a Level 3 Travel Advice for Australians travelling overseas….only essential travel should be undertaken;

Note point 5. We note that this is advisory however it is also clear. Only essential overseas travel should be undertaken. The Government has not stated how long this will apply or made any suggestion as to when it might be considered reasonable to undertake non-essential travel again.

Please DO NOT panic and understand that we are wholeheartedly here for you, our loyal clients.

As information is rapidly changing, we are being advised by our Suppliers and Airlines the steps they are taking and we will be (as they are) dealing with this on an individual basis on date departure order.

We constantly review the latest updates from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) websites, to make sure we have the most up to date information in order to ensure the actions we are taking, are comprehensive and appropriate.

I know a lot of my friends have had a fabulous time at The Magic Castle Hotel, so if you would like to pop into helloworld Ocean Grove Agency on Tuesday to say hi to Darren, he will be joining us for an hour from 1030-1130.... there will be popsicles for the kids and he will be updating us on all things Magic !!!

Joelle has carved a career in the outdoor industry as a backcountry guide, a rafting guide, an outdoor educator and a lover of adventure. She works with young people and adults towards cultivating adventurous habits and a passion for the outdoors. She believes in the power of the outdoors and adventure to ignite growth and transformation. Recently, she established an adventure club in the Southern Highlands called The Gutsy Girl Project and you can find her on the board of the newly formed Australian Women’s Adventure Alliance.

Meet Jon Summers 😃

Meet Jon Summers - one of our Youth Adventure guides. He is a Paramedic and passionate Youth Mentor, offering faith and support to young people. He aims to help them build unwavering confidence and to forge a life of love and abundance. He is a Senior Leader with Tony Robbins and travels the world sharing personal development knowledge.
Before the Emergency Services, Jon worked as an Electrician in many different roles, both onshore and offshore around Australia and New Zealand. Jon has also been blessed to play professional rugby union in Europe, New Zealand and Australia. And following such a diverse and successful career he is focused on giving back, both professionally and personally. Jon now jumps at every opportunity to serve with young people in whatever way he can.

Jon is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys exploring new activities; he even started learning the drums two and a half years ago – which he loves in a super nerdy way.

Jon is both humbled and excited to be involved with The Adventurous Life Project, and relishes the challenge.
