Our Managing Director, Casey will be travelling to Cambodia on a Fundraising Tour to help raise funds for Cows for Cambodia. A charity founded and run by Channel 7’s Andrew “Cosi” Costello.

Cows for Cambodia is essentially a “COW BANK.” They loan very poor families a pregnant cow, then they must look after it and when it has the calf, they get to keep the baby and the cow returns to the program to help another family. Each family signs a contract to ensure the cow is looked after and strict rules are followed to ensure the best outcomes for all parties. Once they own their own cow, they can use it for breeding purposes and help break the poverty cycle.

The success of this project has been overwhelming, so much so that the long-term goal is to have 1,000 cows in the project which will make Cows for Cambodia one of Asia’s biggest Agriculture charity projects.

Throughout Casey's time in Cambodia, she will be assisting in building a house, vaccinating cows and goats in the Cows for Cambodia Program, assisting on the farm and delivering hundreds of kg of rice to extremely poor families in the villages.

Various positions now exist within our team of highly motivated, enthusiastic staff, for civil work on multiple new construction projects across Sydney. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, Carey Constructions is an accredited sponsor within Australia.

If you have a current driver's licence and minimum of 1 years' experience in Civil Construction, we want to hear from you! We are looking for skilled applicants across the following areas:

• Civil Construction and General Labouring duties
• Pit and pipe works
• Trenching and excavations
• Spotting machinery
• Help with day to day civil works and pipe laying
• Site set ups, maintenance and clean ups
• Erecting shoring

Skills required:
