Brett Whiteley is one of the most recognisable names in Australian art and an exhibition by the iconic artist has opened at Orange Regional Gallery.

Orange is the only gallery in NSW to present this major touring exhibition from the Art Gallery of NSW.

The exhibition features some of Whiteley's most famous paintings, including his 1976 Archibald-Prize-winning self-portrait, as well as drawings, sculptures, photographs, collages and ceramics.

'Brett Whiteley: Inside the Studio' will be held until 9 June.

🎼 Cultured 2025 🎻

The Orange Chamber Music Festival's FREE community event 'Cultured' will return to the city's cultural precinct this Saturday 8 March.

The popular music event takes classical music out of the concert hall and brings it to the community, with three performances set to fill the spaces of the Library, Theatre and Gallery throughout the day, starting at 10am.

Come along and experience classical music performances by local youth and outstanding emerging artists in our own community facilities.

🇦🇺 Join us for Australia Day celebrations in Cook Park on Sunday 26 January.

Come along for the community breakfast barbecue, free for the first 500 people, entertainment, children's lawn games and amusements, vintage car display, food and market stalls.

Welcome our newest Australians at the Citizenship Ceremony and congratulate the winners of the Orange Australia Day Awards.

Celebrations kick off at 8am. See you there!

Millthorpe Markets sadly cancelled tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

We have just completed an evaluation of the school grounds and oval, and unfortunately, there’s a significant amount of standing water. With more rain on the way, we can’t move forward without risking the safety of our stallholders and patrons. Considering this it’s with a heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s markets.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event in April.
