This is a wonderful tour!

To all of our friends in VIC and NSW, we are thinking of you during this difficult and uncertain time. Hopefully we can enjoy your company in Tasmania very soon. We have been getting lots of requests for cruising to Maria Island in September and with the Tasmanian Travel Vouchers being made available, we have decided to offer a special Cruise & Walk Day Tour on the 5th, 11th, 18th and 25th of September. Oh dear this is a bit of a nuisance to say the least but necessary for sure!

The main route between Hobart and the East Coast town of Orford is set to be off-limits for weeks due to the risk of a major rockfall.

The state government's revealed it's received advice that urgent works need to be undertaken to remove rocks at Paradise Gorge, close to the entrance to Orford, a popular weekend and holiday destination.

Premier Peter Gutwein says the road is safe to travel on today, but with bad weather forecast the road will be closed from Friday night for several weeks.

Alternative routes will be available via the Midland Highway and Wielangta Road.

We have a few gaps over Dec & Jan, 4 bedrooms licensed to sleep 8 only, (sorry but we cannot accept more due to Council regulations & insurance cover). Only a 5 minute walk to beach.
