🚨 Hopeful dangler or strategic angler? 🚨
A woman with a rod in her hands is a picture of capability, adventure, and a zest for life. But when that woman is fishing with intent—not just casting and hoping—well, that picture tells a much richer story.
💡 When you fish with intent, you don’t just become a better angler—you become a more empowered you.
Our perpetual, app-based fishing competitions aren’t just about winning prizes (though, let’s be real, that’s fun too 😉). They’re about:
✅ Sharpening your skills so you catch more, not just cast more.
✅ Fishing smarter with strategy, not just luck.
✅ Building confidence and self-belief that spills into every aspect of your life.

A great place to fish now and in the future

The East Gippsland CMA will put your recreational fishing licence fees to work installing more woody habitat into the Gippsland Lakes, which has been free of commercial net fishing since 2020.

Thirty woody structures will be placed into Lake King and Jones Bay to benefit key species such as black bream, estuary perch and bass. The work complements other aquatic habitat improvements by the CMA in recent years, which were also supported by fishing licence fees.
The 12-month project is one of 14 recently announced worth almost $1.1 million combined – learn more about them at www.vfa.vic.gov.au/feesatwork2024

And if you’re a club or organisation with an idea to make a difference in your area, applications for the 2024-25 Large Grants Program close February 28! Details here - www.vfa.vic.gov.au/fishinggrants
