Muppet is a beautiful Tawny Frogmouth!

Although often called Tawny Frogmouth owls, frogmouths aren't owls their close relative is the Nightjar. The biggest difference is what they catch their food with, Owls are raptors meaning they catch their food with their talons, however, Frogmouths use their beak.

The Tawny Frogmouth are one of three different Frogmouth species found in Australia. Known for their incredible camouflage they can be a hard species to spot!

Meet muppet and her dad Wally at our 11.30am and 2.30pm in-flight bird of prey show.
