During our wet season, July through to November is when it’s mating season for the Brolga. We are lucky enough to have some wetland areas that they nest and raise their young. Looking forward to seeing this years off spring 👀📸

🌳Native wildlife call our bush land home around here at Warrawindi. With several fenced off bushland areas ensure the local wildlife thrive and it’s all part of the ecosystem. Planted tree lines are a great way to give our livestock cover during rough windy conditions, with a plethora of bird and bug life benefit as well.

We are grateful to have some rare bird species such as the brolga that calls Warrawindi home. During certain months of the year they are raising their young here in our native wetland areas.

They are well known for their graceful dance moves during courtship displays.

Sustainable & environmentally responsible meat is something really important to us. But it all begins with what’s under the surface, we focus on our microbial life and soil health to ensure our pastures are healthy which then our livestock consume. Having healthy animals means less health issues resulting in lowering costs, more weigh gains and happy animals (and less stress on us!)

Listening to cows chewing on a fresh pasture is something therapeutic in itself. It’s not just our livestock that benefit from this, it’s our whole ecosystem and native wildlife.
