Last day of the year was a special day for us.
It has been an “interesting” last few days of 2022 for Due West Charters with some challenging mechanical and health issues with the mighty McLaughlan and it’s crew suffering setbacks.
A surprise once in 7 years visit from an ex crayfishing weapon, now Norwegian living cousin brightened the end of our year!
Coupled with our young bloke doing some holiday “work” it was a family affair.
Thanks for filling in Grant and Ed!

Due West is looking for Staff for the coming Perth summer season.
Our season starts mid October and runs till end of March 2023.
We are looking for vibrant, enthusiastic applicants with good people skills.
Experience on boats is not essential, but a strong hospitality mindset is.
Applicants will need to be capable swimmers and physically fit.

We have a cancellation on Saturday 19th of March during the day if anyone is looking to take advantage of a rare Saturday slot before we finish in Perth for this summer.

We have had some amazing weather lately for the Perth Islands charters.
Guests have been treated to a variety of activities including but not limited to;
- Back deck, boat Jenga
- Dolphin and Seal cameos
- Shopping basket fishing
- Rescue of a drowning snorkeler
- Catch and eat of Jumbo crays
- Offshore boat jumps
- 100’s of flying fish spotted
- Rottnest surfing
- back deck, dance floor sessions
- phone and glasses snorkel rescues

Can’t wait to see what the next couple of weeks bring us!
