Life - is - amazing - right - now 🔥🔥🔥We legit thought we would have to “work” our way around Australia away from the kids to make this happen!Little did we know - our persistence - our determination - our dream - our HUNGER for a new life was going to pay off way quicker than anticipated! This is what goosebumps are made of.You don’t have to “sell” to make an impact, and make a difference with this - you just have to give it a chance.

How sad in this day and age people can’t afford to go on holidays.

Just goes to show how fu**ed up the system is that the massive corporations are making record profits of the back of the working people of every country. The harder you work and the more you save the more broke you will be.

JOB just above broke.

Get that hard earned money doing the work for you like the rich have done for centuries.

Get yourself educated financially educated before it’s too late.

Get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Even as a side hustle. Then watch as the side hustle overtakes and surpasses what you thought was possible.

The education system is broken it’s teaching our kids to be drones.

It’s out of date. What worked for our grandparents is not going to work for this generation. They need new skill and better financial education.

Listen to people and follow people who have really made it. Look at what they do and mirror them.

Live life on your terms not on other people’s expectations. That you have to do a 9-5 you have to get a house you have to save money for a retirement that might never come. Do what makes you happy. You only get one shot at this thing called life. Get to living.

Are you in a good diversified financial position for what’s coming.

If not why not.

Get your assets into places that will survive the next big crash.

Don’t leave your wealth in Cash or bonds or think you are ok because you have equity in the house you are living in. Because when the crash comes these are the first things to go bang. Remember what happened in 2008.

Learn from the past it’s the best teacher.

If you would like to see one option and it should be 1 of many because if you are all in, in one place you could be setting yourself up to fail.

180 Ltrs of water run the tanks - and this is what the tanks are saying……..

|| Elk & Fir AirBnB - near Yeppoon ||

We had an incredibly welcome unexpected turn of events while we were about to move on to my dear friends property in Cawarral.

We went to the cute tiny tavern while we waited for my friend to return home - realising we hadn’t filled up our water tank - we got chatting to a few of the friendly locals.

When an elderly gentlemen who Aidan had been chatting to insisted we come back to his and he will gladly fill the tanks.

He talked of his irish ancestors and was just an amazing beautiful gentlemen.

We took him up on his offer and what unfolded was truely beautiful.

Paul and Barb the owners of Elk and Fir - showed us around their incredibly beautiful property in Cawarrel - the kids played in the gardens and were so happy playing.

They ended up insisting we just stay there in the van for the night and stay for dinner, chats and a few drinks

How amazing - new connection - new friends - lots of amazing advice - stories shared.

Everything happens for a reason.

If you ever want to stay close to Yeppoon - give Paul a call.

They have an incredible little 1 room unit - blessed with sunshine in the front courtyard.

And an equally amazing 3 bedroom cabin which screams Nordic vibe - it’s just amazing.

This family have such an eye for detail and not be quite honest - it made me want to buy a plot of land and recreate their homes.

Just fabulous.

LONGREACH

We stayed at the cutest / quaint / characteristic caravan park.

Often the ones without all the bells and whistles steal our hearts.

We got there with no booking, they said they could squeeze us in in front of the washing line 😅😅😅

As we quickly set up (still hitched) the old fella owner came out with a tray of biscuits, tea and coffee and a big old cow bell. Started ringing the bell and shouted “smoko is up”

Hehehe

The kids loved all the grey nomads, the bird feeding, the chats and the all in all community feel this tiny little place brought to the table.

It doesn’t have a pool, it’s doesn’t have beautiful fields, set allocation or playground - it has character, quirks and a lot of stories to tell.

It also got down to 2degrees last night - first time in 2 years we have had to dig deep in the winter storage. Brrrrrrrrrr

Beautiful Aloe Vera

I thank my stars everyday for plant medicine and my open brain to explore “alternative” or is it “the original” healer????

Madam M has had terrible stomach cramps, hot piercing pain, diarrhoea the last week or even a bit more.

I have a sneaking suspicion she has potentially got Giardia - and will be getting a stool sample tested soon to confirm.

But - for now - aloe has helped her tremendously!!!!!!

It’s not only good for sunburn, burns and other things - but it is proven to help with stomach upsets, IBS and wayyyyy more.

Today we researched how to make aloe Vera juice from the plant rather than just going to the shops to buy it (not knowing what the frik they put in things these days)

So - we whipped up a cup of juice!

It wasn’t a pleasant taste OR TEXTURE - Urgh - BUT within minutes she said her tummy felt better and she hasn’t mentioned her tummy ALL day!!!!!!!

QUEENSLAND!!!

The reality of a 13 hour drive with kids isn’t pretty.

We did it - not our chosen timeframe of driving - but sometimes s**t happens and plans change right.

We usually max out at 5 hour drives and that’s generally our max.

Ouch!!! We are tired and cranky as are the kids haha.

But we found a little cool spot to stay with a pool and a pub! Winning!!!!!!
