Did you know there are roughly 10,000 Quokkas that call Rottnest Island home?🏠

You can spot these little furry guys all around the Island, however your best chance at getting that perfect is in the main Settlement area. They are super friendly and known as the 'happiest animal in the world', however to help the population stay happy and healthy, please make sure not to feed or touch them.

Oliver Hill Gun & Tunnel 📖

Located in the centre of Rottnest Island, you will find remnants from World War II including restored 9.2 inch guns and a maze of underground tunnels. Taking a tour with the Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association is a must-do for anyone curious about learning more about Rottnest Island's war history.

Get there by foot, bike or climb aboard the Captain Hussey Historical Train🚂 for a scenic and informative journey out to Oliver Hill through the Island's south side.

Visit the Rottnest Island Visitor Centre before leaving the settlement for more information and bookings for tours of Oliver Hill and the train.
