As the Wadandi season of Kambarang draws to an end, Birak brings arid easterly or north easterly winds in the mornings and a coastal sea breeze in the afternoon. The sun shines hotter and the days are longer.
With calmer, warmer waters, the larger djiljit (fish) species come closer. The Kaarak (red tailed cockatoos) are chewing away, dropping marri maada (h***y nuts) from the trees.

Canal Rocks is located 14kms south west of Dunsborough, in the northern parts of the Margaret River Region. Head to Yallingup and take a left turn down Caves Road. Once you reach Canal Rocks Road follow it to the end where you’ll find the carpark and access to this must-see destination. 👌🏻
