Signs Your Baby is Getting Enough Milk πΆ
As a parent, itβs natural to worry about whether your baby is getting enough milk. While every child is different, these are some common signs to keep an eye out for:
π At least 5 heavily wet disposable nappies, or 6+ pale, very wet cloth nappies in 24 hours
π Soft, healthy bowel motions
π Bright eyes and good skin tone
π Generally content (even if a little fussy and unsettled at times)
π On average, growing 150g or more per week in the first three months.
If you have any questions, or need further support, our Parenting Line team and Lactation Consultant are available to help with advice tailored to you and your little one:

β¨π Feature of the Month πβ¨
This month, we're spotlighting one of our fantastic programs from the Gascoyne region: the Carnarvon Education & Engagement Program (CEEP).
CEEP is all about helping children and families build a bright future through education and engagement. Whether it's supporting school pick-ups, running after-school programs, encouraging school engagement, or providing life skills for parents, CEEP is here to help every step of the way.
As we approach the new school year, CEEP is focused on helping Carnarvon families get organised early. Our Engagement Officer, Brooklyn, shares helpful tips in her latest video to ensure families are ready for February 5th.

Yesterday at our Kensington facility we celebrated our NAIDOC Week event. β€οΈππ€
We were privileged to take part in a Smoking Ceremony and witness some didgeridoo playing, before hearing stories and wisdom shared by our distinguished guests, Vanessa Corunna and Dakota Baker. Prior to the event, staff watched Vanessa's suggested viewing about Noongar leader and warrior Yagan, which informed the storytelling and interactive Q&A panel.
The event concluded with delicious Bushtukka-inspired food by All Good Grub Bushtukka Catering and bites from Hoopla Espresso
There was a fantastic turnout, which included special guest Geoff Baker MLA, as well as Ngala staff, Kensington Early Learning children, and some of our clients staying at NRPS.
Thank you to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Group for their input and guidance in planning our NAIDOC Week celebrations and to those staff who helped plan the event. It was an inspiring afternoon and enjoyed by all.
