Have you ever wanted to see the Aurora Australis (Southern Lights)?

From Melbourne you will board a Qantas Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and head over the Southern Sea aiming for the Aurora Zone. This flight will take you far away from light pollution, high above the clouds and weather systems however the exact route will depend on the activity of the Aurora Australis on the night.

You will receive full inflight catering service in both business and economy classes and expert astronomers will be on hand to provide information about how an aurora is created, as well as pointing out their favourite night sky objects. Pets in Flight ✈️

From December this year, it looks like the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) will leave it up to individual airlines to decide whether or not to allow pets in the cabin of their own planes. Currently, only service dogs are allowed to travel in plane cabins with domestic animals are place in the cargo section.

Qantas and Jetstar have already ruled out this possibility, however Virgin have yet to make a decision.

OK, so it's been a testing week for everyone here in Perth (and let's be fair, most of Australia...) 🥺

So we have some kind of good news - Phuket is now welcoming vaccinated tourists 🥳 Yes, OUR borders are still closed, but let's look on the bright side - countries are now slowly starting to open up and that can only be a good thing right?

Phuket doesn't require any quarantine (for vaccinated travellers), however the rest of Thailand does. Tourists will be able to roam free on Phuket but not travel to other parts of the country for 14 days.

A glimmer of hope among a trying week... we will take it!
