Le Loop - Tour de France stage 3. 186km, 1450m of climbing. Last day in Denmark. This is such a remarkable country to ride a bike. The etiquette, and lack of red-kneck retards in cars is a glaring culture shock. The cars just give way in countless scenarios you just do not expect. Despite this, hardly any traffic backed up at junctions - so many are on bikes. Again lots of KMs on cycle lanes (that get priority at junctions and roundabouts) and quiet country lanes. A big day, made longer by headwinds. The offerings at the 4 Le Loop food stops: sensational. At the hotel (hostel tonight) also excellent, quality and quantity. And the cheapest beer we have found in Denmark. Another great day. Big day tomorrow. 5 countries with 10 hours plus on a coach to NE France. Time to catch up on sleep.
