How interesting Western Australia can be? If you're not been to these natural wonders.. you're definitely missing out something... and more exciting!
Prepare to indulge in a smorgasbord of culinary treats at the host of world-class wineries and restaurants dotted throughout the area.
Nature also puts on an awesome display here - ancient limestone caves and magnificent surf breaks just two unforgettable features.
It's clear to see why this is one of Western Australia's most visited destinations.
The Margaret River Wine Region covers the area between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin and east to Busselton, enveloping a cluster of towns, each with its own distinct personality.
The popular seaside town of Busselton features the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere - a great fishing spot or the perfect place to enjoy a serve of fish and chips.
Busselton Jetty has been described as Australia's greatest artificial reef and is host to an awe inspiring forest of vividly coloured tropical and sub tropical corals, sponges, fish and invertebrates.
Wave Rock is a natural rock formation that is shaped like a tall breaking ocean wave. The "wave" is about 14 m (46 ft) high and around 110 m (360 ft) long. It forms the north side of a solitary hill, which is known as "Hyden Rock."
Wave Rock is a spectacular example of what geomorphologists call a "flared slope". A flared slope is a concave-upward or -inward bedrock surface that is typically found around the base of inselbergs, bornhardts, and granitic boulders and also on their higher slopes. Flared slopes like Wave Rock are particularly well developed in granitic landforms of south-western and southern Australia.
THEREโS no need to head to New York, Paris or Barcelona - one of the worldโs top parks is right here in Perth.
Kings Park and Botanic Garden has been ranked the sixth best in the world, according to the latest rankings from TripAdvisor, based on the opinions of travellers on the international review site.
At No.6, the Perth attraction beat other well-known tourist sites including Park Guell in Barcelona (No.7) and Luxembourg Gardens in Paris (No.10).
The worldโs top park was Stanley Park in Vancouver, followed by the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and New York Cityโs Central Park.
The Perth parkโs views and open space have been a consistent hit with TripAdvisor reviewers, being rated a โmust-doโ for a visit to the WA capital.
